Maddy's First Haircut

On March 11th, Maddy had her first haircut which came about a year younger than Emily's. She was very well behaved, even when getting sprayed.

Maddy Is Scooting

For about 2 weeks now, she has been pulling herself up at will and cruising along the furniture.

Emily Washing the Car

She has the most fun rinsing. She likes to "make rainbows" (arches of water) of the truck.



After a couple of trips up the ladder, she sat down and said, "that's enough, I'm tired."


Once she figured out how to make the water come down like rain on her, it was all over. :)

What's Crap?

As I was bringing Maddy in to take a bath, she proceeded to pee all over me to which I exclaimed "OH CRAP."

Emily in a good natured, curious way asked "what's crap?" "What's Crap?" "Papa, what's crap?" "Papa, I said, 'What is Crap?'" Sondra, whom I called for help with Madison, came in with tears in her eyes from laughing so hard.

In all the commotion, Emily eventually forgot that I had failed to define crap. We'll save that one for another day. :)
