Santa Monica 2011

McDonalds, the beach for a couple of hours capped off by ice cream and a few rides on the carosel. Family tradition every summer.

This year you both ventured out a little further into the ocean. Maddy without any hand holding and Emily into waves that broke above her head at times. As soon as you master swimming Em, I'll teach you to boogie board. :)

Thankful For?

At church Maddy drew what she was thankful for. Most kids drew their families. Maddy drew a spider :)

She also drew something she said was "saddness.". She said,"Im thankful for saddness because then I can show them the light of Jesus!"
