A Proud Moment

Tonight Emily, Madison and were watching hockey when an Av player took a high stick to the face. I paused the Tv and told the girls to go brush their teeth and then play. Emily wanted to stay but I explained that the player was hit hard and there may be a lot of blood. He may even have lost a tooth.

Emily left but returned shortly to see if the player was ok

When I told her that he had not lost a tooth she looked relieved and explained how she was about to pray for him but wouldn't need to now.

It was soooo sweet to hear her say that she would pray for someone she thought was suffering. Sondra and I both feel very good knowing that our little 6 year old knows the power of prayer. :)

Maddy and Emmy

4 year old Madison keeps running around saying, "I'm too old to marry boys."

In unrelated news, 6 year old Emily keeps talking about kissing boys and has her first serious crush. She was sick over it one night to the point where she didn't want to go to school. The crush was a secret that she feared might get out!!!
