My 1st Weekend with Maddy

Mommy was gone on a scrapbooking weekend while Nana and Grampy took Emily up to northern CA.

We spent a lot of our time together practicing walking. I called it "Walking Boot Camp." Mostly you pushed a riding toy around the house at light speed cutely looking back at me saying "ut-o" every time you crashed into the wall. :)

On Sunday we went to Yokuts park to have a picnic. I took a ton of pictures but we found ourselves fighting ants everywhere we went. You were excited to be there and didn't keep too still so none of the pictures are great. The memory is great and that's what really counts.

Emily Reads To Me

Tonight Emily read me a bedtime story! "A Potty For Me" was her choice of book which she recited to near perfection.

Your Mommy's B-day

Day after the party and 2 pieces of cake remain. Since you two are too young to care, that means one for me and one for Mommy. That morning I saw her standing at the island with fork in hand so I peaked over and saw most of the cake gone. Guilty, she looked up and said..

"I accidentally ate them both"

Update: Maddy

Today I have Maddy walking and pushing Emily's riding toy. It's hilarious because she seems to want to skip walking and go strait to running. The push toy doesn't go very straight so she keep ramming it into the wall and saying "UT-o."

Lately, Maddy has not shown any interest in walking. She started walking but stopped. She can scoot so dang fast that she probably doesn't see the benefit to walking. At her doctors appointment yesterday he suggested physical therapy to get her back on track so we are determined to do everything on our end to avoid that.

MADDY SAID "PAPA!"

Her "P's" are little puffs of air so sounds like "Puh-Puh" sometimes. Other times it's a loud and clear "Papa!!!"

Yeah!
