Coloring Eggs

This was Maddy's first time coloring eggs.

Yes, Emily is wearing clothes. She was wearing long sleeve feet pajamas so she unzipped the top. :)

Emily on Easter

"I would eat all of the candy at once."

(pause)

"and throw-up, in an orange bucket of course."

Ok, So I Taught the Kids to Throw Their Toys

What do you expect to happen when mommy is gone? I mean really, can you think of a better way to clean up the stuffed animals besides playing basketball? I didn't think so. :)

Nursery Rhymes

Maddy's current obsession is reading nursery rhymes. She loves to pick up a book and recite as if she is reading the rhyme. Wee Willy Winky is her favorite and if I'm not mistaken, I have video taped this. She reads with great emphasis grinning ear to ear.

She goes something like, "wee willy WINKY runs thru town UPSTAIRS downstairs in NIGHTGOWN.

Doom and Gloom

Lately Emily has been talking about death. Cheerfully she will say to Sondra, "I'm going to die before you." or "I want to die at the same time as you mommy."

It's gut wrenching to hear her say these things and I wonder where she's getting it. Natural curiosity I assume

No Good Pictures?

Sondra was saying the other day how we now have friends who have wonderful photos of their kids. And you would think since I was the photographer that we'd have some decent shots of our own.

We'll since everyone else's kids sit still for me but my kids do not, it's a challenge. Here is my first crack at it with Maddy.
