Madsion's First Spanking from Me

I spanked her yesterday. Not a little tap on the hand but a full swat on the back side. She didn't flinch. She held the spot with her hand but no tears. I thought I spanked her hard enough that she would cry. We thought Maddy might be the sensitive one but it appears we have another daughter tough as nails. :)

Christmas Season is Here

It felt like as soon as we finished the Thanksgiving dishes, we put our Christmas tree up.

This year both Maddy and Emily helped decorate. There is no gate to protect the tree this year as we have decided to teach Maddy not to tough the ornaments.

Emily may be outsmarting Santa this year. She is refusing to tell us what she wants insisting that she will wait and only tell Santa. If only she knew... Can you picture me in line to see Santa with Emily.."Hey Santa, what did that little blonde girl just ask for?"

Let's just hope that Christmas morning we don't hear Emily say, "that's not what I told Santa!"

Dancing with Maddy

This morning Maddy came in while I was getting dressed and starting dancing. She is not yet two so dancing is standing in place, squatting and quickly standing back up all while grinning ear to ear (repeat over and over). I stood beside her in my towel and mimicked her motions. It was a great way to start the day.

My Day at Pre-School

The day went perfect! Emily was excited that I was driving her to school and when I came back to eat lunch her teacher had left me a spot at her table. Emily kissed me twice when I arrived on the cheek. She was so affectionate when she did.

What a great day!

Mathew

Mathew is now starting to say that he wants to marry Madison. Emily is insistent that he is not making the right choice.

Maddy can say her alphabet up to G and does so with great excitement and the biggest grin you have ever seen. She is only 22 months old.
