Every time the Avalanche lose a hockey game, Emily turns to me and says "Papa, they forgot to score another goal."

On the subject of hockey, I dressed Madison in her infant jersey today (what did Sondra expect). She sat with me as I watched the game seemingly uninterested. When I would talk to her she just gave me a blank stare. Then I turned to her and started explaining positional defense on a penalty kill. She smiled and coo'd as I rambled on. This phenomenon repeated when I explained the cycling of the puck in an offensive zone.
