Lately, I have begun feeding you once a day with a bottle to wean you from mommy so she can return to work. It's an exciting part of my day because you stare at me the entire time as if I was the only person in the world and to you, in that moment, I am.

You are a baby of few words. You cry only when you absolutely need something. Otherwise, you are content to watch and listen to the world around, its sounds and colors, in quiet fascination.
